The A-HOME has been developed through many years of feedback from enthusiastic clients and guests who have experienced the charm of staying in our elliptical structures. It is the culmination of over 50 years designing and living in exciting, small, cosy, comfortable cabins and innovative houses.
The A-HOME incorporates everything you need in a carefully designed practical space of around 100m2, delivered fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, and no additional builder input. We have deliberately designed a truly affordable house with a significantly larger floorplan than others but with less cost and a clever design.
Depending on the workload in our factory, delivery may be as little as 6 weeks from ordering once you have a serviced site with Planning Consent, Building Warrant approval and foundations or screwpiles. All of this can be arranged for you, including drawings and applying for these consents, if you wish.
We are aiming for a fully equipped total cost of less than £150k, including foundations, but excluding vat, (which should not be applicable on a new build house). Some extras such as woodstoves, heating system, underfloor heating, dividing Bedroom 2 into two kids rooms and any other bespoke modifications or requests can be discussed and costed in advance. Virtually anything you require can be included.
Designs for the A-HOME are well advanced and CAD drawings will be available shortly together with confirmed costings. The ShowHome will be erected near Lochaline in the Spring and this will be our flagship unit. NO-builders, NO-delays, NO-hassle!
